Maggie & Frank elopement

Maggie & Frank were my first solo wedding job. I got the opportunity to associate shoot for another photographer being that they were already booked. When i arrived to this beautiful venue i could not imagine in anyway that this day wasn’t going to be perfect. Maggie was so kind, and absolutely stunning. The morning started with sitting down and visiting with my couple. Checking in our nerves, hair and makeup running and moving up and down the floors to the different rooms. I spent so much time photographing this absolutely stunning home converted into a venue for weddings.

Maggie & Frank were such a raw and beautiful couple. They were so down to create fun, artistic, fresh photos! Which is just such a breathe of fresh air in our profession. We spent the night running around the house taking portraits in almost every nuke. Enjoying the absolute glow of these two after had just bonding themselves for life. I cant imagine having another profession in life. I feel so lucky to know these humans. To hold such immense responsibility and honor to have. This wedding, and two humans blast started my career. I will cherish this day and this connection & opportunity forever

Jessy & Perry

Within my first trip to Asheville I also got the pleasure to meet Jessy & Perry Rhodes. Owners of Rhodes Wedding Co. I woke sunrise to head to their home in Waynesville, about thirty minutes from where i stayed. The drive was full of gorgeous, strong trees. Flowing inspiration, excitement, anxiety to meet these two in person. Going from swooning over their wedding video for years. Now face to face with them to create. I arrived greeting by a swarm of little pups coming to greet me, with Jessy & Perry closely behind. The morning began with Perry making everyone the most delicious coffee, delightful conversation, finally getting to make a person for this online connection we’ve always known.

The day was spent running around the house laughing, experience their absolute gorgeous connection, making friends, warm coffee, puppies, creating one of my favorite galleries to this date. Perry played his music on the piano & guitar. These two have probably inspired me more than anyone. They brought another part of my artist out in me. Became such an amazing pair of friends to me. I wouldn’t be here without any of my clients, friends, or couples. Im forever grateful for these two & cant wait to capture a million more memories with them over the years.

What marked my first arrival to Asheville North Carolina, began the morning of the sunset shoot. This to be the first time meeting the couple. Anxiously driving through the new city as the sun is beginning to creep up behind all the mountains. We arrived to this amazing discount shoe parking lot. They arrived and immediately i knew the connection was gonna be more than just this shoot. As they ran through the light of the parking light posts, the morning began to creep in more. We started making our way up Blue Ridge Parkway to be greeted by the absolute gorgeous vail of fog over the entire mountain top.

We laughed, adventured through new terrain, met two people who are now lifelong friends, while creating all of our favorite passions. As we finish up the shoot with the beautiful sun fully in sight over the mountains. We all stumbled back after a long morning of hiking, and frolicking through. One thing i love to focus on is connection. This day will always be one of those special days for me. A true turning point in my business and view on life. I could be happier to of had that experience. While continue to create more amazing art with these two beautiful humans.
